Door panel bolt connector plastic

My 88 has broken plastic tabs (door panel) where the three bolts connect it to the door. All three have cracked and broken from age. As I looked at it, I wondered if I could re-enforce it with a piece of plastic from a milk bottle with some super glue. Anybody out there have a good solution that last?

You could probably rivet a thin piece of metal and then make a hole in the metal the same size as the bolt. I wouldn't mess with glue or plastic in this area, the bolts will pull your panel towards the door.

I "think" the source of the aluminum panel reinforcement is Australia, and a couple vendors sell it.

Best fix, get a nice unbroken plastic part, and put the reinforcement panel on before it breaks.

Not sure I understand. do you mean to reinforce the existing panel with plastic and then re-install?

Nah, it fits in the door panel/arm rest I believe and reinforces it. Heres a pic.

The door armrest support brackets all come from the same source.
