Here's my work area. Straight old skool, right directly on mother earth!

MY garage!!! LOL!!
|
I do a fair amount of the work on my 928's in a fully equiped commercial shop. My condo association doesn't allow any work in the driveway, only inside the garage where I am slowly making enough space to walk through with a car in it.
|
Damn Danglerb... Thought I did good in my insulated heated a/c'd garage. BUT commercial garage. You have us beat.
|
This is my garage, currently no path from front to back, walls lined with commercial shelving as high as 10', old computer stuff stacked all the way to the 12' ceiling. Anybody need a motherboard for an Apple 12" crt?
Inside on the left is my red 84 Euro parts donor, inside is full, towels on the hood and empty boxes on top. Right side is motor I just finished taking apart, and the motor for my yet to be used lift. Banquet tables are for the driveway, can't work on cars there, but can't stop me from putting the tables out and stacking my junk so I can work inside. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1241457672.jpg |
Mike,
At least it's organized to the 12' ceiling. |

I officially dub thee...... PACK RAT! :D Which BTW is a step up from troglodyte! |
Worse, I'm pack rat, son of pack rat. I come from a long line of shed building and filling people. ;)
I hate to think what my ancestors caves looked like. |
Jeeze Mike, that's a serious collection of stuff!
I started out as a pack rat but I try to avoid that now. Moving every couple of years helps. If I haven't unpacked it since the last move, it's history. I've been in this place for about two years now so it's time to unload all the crap that I never bothered unpacking. As for where I work on my car, my house has a huge two story 2+ car garage. But it's full of my landlord's pack rat stuff so I only have room for my tools and stuff in there. I work in the car on the large concrete pad in the backyard. It's open to the elements, but out of view of the road and fairly private. |
currently finishing the interior, this is last year

For now my attached garage. Shortly in my detatched garage. My neighbor has a lift and I want one too. Cost too much to mod the house and I have the right sized lot (1.3 acres) so I'm building a detatched garage. My garage in Germany had a PIT! I thought that was pretty cool, but there are down sides to a pit vs. a lift namely climbing in and out of it everytime you need something.

The bails of hay feed the goat thats keeps the garage from getting overgrown?????
|
Nah, I am thinking of the AK47 that uses those 7.62mm rounds to protect that Blower on that Bucket from walking away.
|
I thought mine was packed!
I'll show after it gets picked up a bit :) I will get a lift soon or I will get a new garage! Pop the top maybe and get 2 lifts and then it could hold 4 cars :D |
