1979 928 Vacuum hose diagram
Does anyone have a vacuum hose diagram I could reference?
I have the manual on CD, but can't find the vacuum hose section. Also, Dangler, where do I get Rogers kit? Thanks in advance for any help, hopefully Leo will find some time today............................................. .................................................. ................................................. |

It's in the tech specs at this link and I think you will find the info here very useful.

thanks for all the help guys. I think I have all the vacuum hoses down, now I believe I have a timing or air/fuel mixture screw adjustment problem.

I wouldn't start adjusting until you have a couple tanks of fresh gas through it and everything is working properly. If you have some dirty injectors, etc. and "fix" the A/F ratio, when you really fix the injectors you will need to set it again.

Makes a ton of sense. I'm not even sure "what" is in it for fuel right now. How intense is removing the tank Mike?

Yup easy, but I would allow some time for it so you can paint the support frame, renew the padding on it, clean the tank and allow it to fully dry.
I had a bit of trouble with some fuel line connections that didn't want to come loose, and the padding I used on the support frame (like 1/8" thick spongy shelf liner) was a bit thick making the support frame a tight fit on reinstall. Boots on my fuel pump electrical connections were really non pliant, but I was told replacing them totally sucks, so I struggled with them. |
