As well, remove and jumper the fuel injection relay before hand.
But keep in mind that the fuel injection relay is different. It has 1x 30 post, and 2x 87 pins. so you need to bridge the 3 of these together.

I'll 3rd the fuel hoses, very important. I'm in the process of replacing all mine. They were really brittle even though they looked ok. In your caes they are probably 25 years old, order a kit from Roger before it goes up in flames.

Do you know how long the car sat without running? You could have old broken down dried up fuel clogging your lines and fuel injector screens like I had. Another reason to just do your hoses and clean all the lines while your at it. Good luck and keep us posted.

First questions is...before my 928 goes up in flames...how do I contact the "Rodger" mentioned in the quote above so that I can obtain a set of fuel hoses?

Second question is...how can I find out the number of my Weissach Edition?

Also 928 international has an injection hose repair kit.

Your weissach should have a plaque and the number is on it. If it is lost you might buy a "birth certificate" for your car if they are still doing that.
