R&R for the "P O R S C H E" stamping?
It appears that Sharky's rear end needs a little touching up. Probably TOO much polishing ;-). See below. I don't really know whether the contrasting/black coloring was an option or something that people added later on, since there are so many cars with just the body coloring in the logo.
Dr. Bob mentioned something about die-cut decals being available, but I've only been able to locate adhesive RAISED letters, which I don't want to do. I wouldn't be averse to just removing whatever is there now, but I don't know if that's feasible either. TIA for any pointers. ![]()

removing them will probably do more harm than good.. (Due to the possibility that the rear PU has been resprayed and then there will be paint lines)
That said if you take a hair drier and small plastic scraper ( to avoid damaging the paint) you might be able to remove these stickers, i just did this on my car and then used wax and grease remover on a Qtip to soak the remaining glue , after about 10 mins some cleaner wax and it looks brand new
