John OK understood.

I'll have to drop out of this buy and go with a plan B though because my engine is apart right now at the shop (intake & cam covers off) and will be going back together in the next week.

I think I'll have to go with the 928 intl oil deflector plate in the same location (I already had one) and add the copper scrubbers filling all the vertical section of the filler neck - this I know I can get done before it all goes back together.

I think it will still be very effective since on a GTS the vac lines are all at the top of the neck stock - and this gives about 6" of almost vertical scrubber stack plus another ~1 1/2" horizontal - however it probably wouldn't work well at all for the earlier low down breather hose locations.

I'll also later be adding a Provent for secondary seperation too (also on back order currently from DR) and the inlet port for this is going onto the filler neck also while its off the car (will be capped off until the Provent is added). Given I have good access (and no debris worries) with the filler neck off - I'm going to install this on the top of the neck behind the filler cap - this will allow completely normal oil filling.

My cam covers have been modified already to add all 4 possible breathers as fresh air in vents (initially they will be in stock config until the Provent gets here).

Alan

It's going to be a little while before I have the scrubbers done...probably 2-3 weeks or so. I'll probably farm out the welding so I can get them finished for you guys.

Sorry so short...lots to do here and focused on getting my wife home safe this week. She's had a real rough time in all of this.

Take care of the girls first--we can wait.

My thoughts are with you John. Take care of the family first.

BTW, my niece was born almost three months early. Today she is very cute and super smart. You would never know she was a premie. Everything will work out fine.

Thanks 421. We got Mom home last night at 12:30. She was able to hold the baby for the 1st time yesterday. Still fighting this HELLP syndrome she came down with...mainly the blood pressure.

I called and the parts will be on the laser tomorrow or Monday. Then I will get them TIG welded up.

John,

I had no idea you had all of this going on. Glad to hear Colleen has made it home and hopefully has a speedy recovery. Claudia is going to be a little miracle baby and will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Today was a big day...Colleen is up and about and feeling much better. Staples came out today. Baby is stable and they did a brain scan. We should know what is up there tomorrow. Been a long and VERY stressful week, but things are looking up.

More info on the scrubbers by mid to late next week.

Update...I have the laser cut pieces. I'll be assembling the units this week and next week. Sorry for the delays and lack of information but I have been very busy over the last couple of weeks with visits to the hospital, etc.

Here is a newer photo of Claudia. She is ready to rip the vent tube out this week. Up to 1 lb 12 oz already. She decided to remove her Twin Turbo shirt for this photo-op.

This one should help put her size into perspective:

Congratulations John!

Claudia is totally adorable! I fully agree with your latest "work"! I was born about 3 weeks premature, and weighed less than 4 pounds. I had a little trouble breathing, and spent two weeks in the hospital, but I wound up flying 833,000 pound airplanes around the world-

[That brings up the story about my name: I was to be "Michael James", but when mom was unconscious and dad was handed the birth form, he filled in is own name. Mom didn't speak to him for 2 weeks, and actually filed for divorce. It never went through, but one year later my parents bought a whole house set of Ethan Allen furniture....my mothers favorite. Wow. I wonder why that happened~!]

N!
