I need a part

I put the out the word to a couple vendors but I did not get a response. I need the heater hose connection that bolts to the right side head. The one I need has a provision for a thermo switch. The one pictured has had the 90 degree pipe cut off and blocked but you can see the thermo switch in the picture. I have a new switch coming so I don't need a switch.

I think that part is NLA. I know I had to repair mine with Home Depot parts. No leaks and works like a charm.

I don't even need the tube. I will thread the hole and plug it again. I need the sender part. I modified mine. (I cut off the hunk of aluminum thinking I would not need it again.) I want to reconnect the sender.

Cool, thanks, I'm trying to reconnect everything as it came from Porsche to see if I can get better fuel milage. I have a 3000 mile trip planned the middle of the month.

I will be in Fruita, Co the weekend of 19th-20th. I'm meeting up with some 914 guys. Were cruising down 141. Cool!

Hey Rich, sorry for the late reply but was looking all over to see if I had one. No such luck. I guess the engine I bought, that part was blocked off, which is probably why I used my old one. Glad you found one.
