YEAH.....try THIS in your 911!

I want to make this clear: this is not some sort of attack on the 911 owners.

This is just a friendly "poke in the ribs" to all the folks who think that the engine should be at the wrong end of the car. Ok?

-EH HEH HEH HEH~ But I do want to post some pictures that will illustrate the basic superiority of project 928. You see, yesterday, I realized that my Whirlpool washing machine had died. It is about 12 years old, so it is too old to repair. I took it apart but couldn't see anything obvious, and the wiring diagrams inside the thing were akin to Swahili, and I'm used to looking at wiring. I can't fix it. Buy another new one? Well, I just spent $30,000 on a new kitchen for my house...I'm tapped out right now, and if I buy a new one it will be one of the new front-loaders.

solution: Buy one from the local thrift store.

Down to the "Faith Farm" I went, me the famous athiest. Well, if they have what I want then fine. If they save me money, then I'm happy to take advantage of them. I found an EXACT replica of my dead Whirlpool washer, on the CHEAP. But they were closing....

"Yeah, we can save it for tomorrow, but do you have a truck or hatch-back car?" I was like "Yes, it's a Porsche"

::silence::

Me: "Well, it has a big hatch...I bet it would fit"

-So I drove my 928 around to the loading dock and two big guys indeed....loaded a washing machine into my 928 tonight. I only had to drive about 1 mile to my house, and then using the floor mat, I unloaded it.

Now....I like the 911 cars [I'm afraid of "trailing throttle overstear"] but I simply like the shapes of the 928 and 944 better. And they are FAR more practical!

You guys and gals b safe!

N!

You are a "Brave" Man Mr. Normy. I thought I was crazy when I had a Craigslist find of a $10 Harley Davidson Powerwheel. AND the thing was "FULL" of Spiders and Eggs. The things I do for my son.

your car looks very good!!! and that washing machine...DAMN!!!! loooks SOOOOO fine!!!how much more down force do you think you got when you drove around with the hatch open like that? that could be an idea! like the bugatti veyron's wing in the back and how it flips up like an airbrake, we could have actuators that raise and lower the hatch under hard braking! damnit im EINSTEIN!!!!......if einstein thought that the a/c coil was an oil cooler, didnt know what the A/C compressor was when he saw it, didnt know what oil rings were............... ahhhhhh my Pelican life..........

Surely there are some laws about this? For instance..... In the state of FL 928 owners cannot carry washing machines simply to show 911 owners that we are just a tad smarter? Lol

Just funnin!!!

That’s classic It reminds me of years back when I had a 944 and was still a mobile DJ. My van broke down a couple hours before a gig. So I took only the most essential equipment and loaded it up in the 944. It was tight but it got the job done. You should have seen the mother of the brides face, it was priceless.

Hey, in the 2nd picture, showing the business end of the washing machine mechanics, the car kinda looks like a 911. :-)

We MIGHT be able to fit a washing machine in our "front hatch". We just need to drive with our head out the window Ace Venture style.

That will fit just right in my next 928...I was thinking of moving the Boot to the Bonnet and rigging the Jet in the Boot. If I understand just a couple of small mods to connect to the drive train!
