There were no GTS' in 1990. Maybe you mean GT? And yes, they are the same. GTS front calipers are bigger than S4/GT calipers. They are the same as the famed "big reds" only they came in black.

unless you are tracking the car, you probably won't notice the difference between the S4 calipers and the larger GTS units.

there are some better qualities with the GTS (big reds), just like 6 piston calipers (with corresponding larger rotors) on many newer super cars.

question is....when or are you going to use them to their full potential? will this justify the added expense of the change-out?

something to think about......

frozen......

I could suggest moving south but.......

at any rate, you should have no issues with replacements from S4 thru GTS, as long as they are mated to the corresponding rotor size.

there are caliper "piston size" differences between the different my and models, but this should not deter you from installing them on your car.

Sounds like the seller doesn't have a clue about the parts, might be a good idea to post detailed pictures before you get too carried away installing them.

Whatca going to do with your old now worthless brakes? In my never ending quest to try rebuilding everything I can find new, I might take a swing at them, send me a PM if you sell them.

calipers

The calipers are from a 90 gt, I guess the parter not being a Porsche guy just assumed it was a gts (there was a gts sticker on the bumper) and as for my old ones I would be willing to give them up for shipping and maybe a heater motor lol should you have or know of one
