Remote hatch release adjustment

My 84 refresh is coming along well. i'm getting down into the minor stuff now -
Like -
how do you adjust the remote rear hatch release mechanism - it cycles through one sequence fine when i pull the switch, but th d**n thing doesn't open.

try cutting a zip tie to the same width of the rear edge of the male portion of the latch , loosen the bolts and slide this along the rear edge and tighten the bolts also make sure the unlocktab in the receiver is moving inwards to the male part, the motor mount bolts can be moved a bit either way to add the distance inwards that the tab moves.
Do the rear zip tie thing first

Thanks Stan, working is interfering with my wrenching, i'll give that a try this upcoming weekend.
