Hello All

I've been lurking for awhile. Time to intrduce myself. Name is Steve and I've had my 928 since 1994. Not the nicest car ever but it does the job. Used to be my daily drive but that stopped about 7 years ago. Also used to track it quite often at BIR and ran it a couple times at Road America. Do all my own work (professional mechanic). Fun to watch what others are doing. Hopefully I can help someone with something I've done as well. Thanks
Steve

Welcome aboard! I have been to Road America as well, but just a spectator. I also had a 1974 De Tomaso Pantera and 67 Vette 427 L88 option. I did have the Vette on the Indy 500 track for one lap! The 928 is the most comfortable of these and probably the best handling.

Nice rides. Agreed that the 928 is the cream of the crop. RA was a blast to drive but I had to watch another 929 launch into the woods right in front of me. That was scary but the guy was ok

Hi Steve.
You live in a 928 rich area. There are alot in Wisconsin and some of those visit RA. I'm yearning to make a trip to RA for a race weekend and meet everyone!

My own home track is Road Atlanta but I've never seen a 928 there beside my own.

The previous owner put them in. They didn't fit well so I modified the brackets a bit. I think they are real comfy but no one else seems to like them. I will say that they wear like iron. 16 years I've had them and they really don't show any wear to speak of. They have really nice bolsters too
