Mason, I am waiting on a warrenty item I sent a over 2 weeks ago and have not got another one back yet. Mason you said in your e-mail to me that you were on vacation but that you were going to get it taken care of it. This was over a week and a half ago. I have called and left a message and e-mailed several times. I would just like to know if there is one on the way. No one has returned a call or e-mail about it. This is in regards to a cruise module for a 1981 928. My e-mail is por9172002, Im in GA. I just need to know what the status is so I can move on with the car.

This seemed the only way to get a response from you.

COMPLAINT FILED WITH STATE OF PA.
Mason, this includes the official complaint form from the state of PA, our entire e-mail history up to this point and a printed version of this Pelican thread.

been trying to get my parts for 3 months no replies and have filed a claim with my cc and refunded gave up on him
last time i spoke with Mason he was trying to save his company so I would say he's gone and that's it
i sent parts back and got sent wrong ones not worth it and gave up and went else where

i would say he's gone and don;t send money in any way cus you going to lose it

Folks, please file a claim with the consumer protection agency of PA as appropriate legal action! I've lost hope in recieving my parts.. (but still send him PM's and e-mails. I will not let him off the hook.) With enough claims hopefully Masons credit/credibility will be damaged. I hate to say that but the thought of him setting up another business to scam people and take advantage of them has me outraged. Perhaps we can prevent him causing loss to more unsuspecting people in the future. Mason should feel some reprecussions to his appauling actions. I hope the state does all in its power to see that happens.

Ben,
Your claim was valid and I sent you replacements...End of story.

Any further 928ww parts related warranty claims will be handled by the new owner. I made a provision for that, because it was fair.

Anything else is just BS, and spare yourself the hype...(and everyone else).

Mason, what about my issue, no response even still, are you going to send me a cruise module or not, or at least send me the one I bought from you. Are you only going to respond to the people who file a criminal complaint against you. I have been very patient and still haven't recieved a single e-mail or anything from you guys. What is the problem!

I am kinda wondering who this new owner is and when he will start to help guys like you out.

Isn't this what is supposed to happen?

Lemme hide behind the couch now

The guy who bought the parts from Mason is Pottsie Webber. His new business can be found at 928partseast.com

Mason, in response to your PM, no I have not recieved the cam cover or the intake. End of story. :) The only hype I can see here is that you've spent 9 weeks attempting to box and ship a part. Please don't get sick again, or forget them under your desk, or go on vacation, or get the address wrong....

PA CPA will hopefully process the complaint and we'll go from there.

I contacted James (pottsie webber) yesterday about handling Masons cleanup. Waiting to hear his reply, but feel bad having to ask that question at all. I'm sure that's not what he'd like to be doing with a fledgling business.
I am not a fan of stirring the pot like this. For everyone with a claim I am sorry. Making a huge stink seems to be the only way to get anything from Mason. Or at least draw attention to him.

I view this as a slow motion business suicide that we all saw coming...

The death throws aren't quite over yet it seems...

Unfortunate for those stuck with unfulfilled order closure issues - however I think there was a fair amount of warning here... sad ending

I don't think people getting into this business had a clue about why 928Intl could sell parts for the prices they do, and how little of those sales they could get with slightly lower prices.

Also when 928Intl and the other BIG used parts sellers stopped buying every 928 at the insurance auctions, dozens of smaller wrecking yards starting picking them up and selling parts. Never in the history of 928's has there been a worse time to be selling used parts.

I'm not so sure I agree. We are still buying about a car a week on average and sales have been strong. We do have the advantage of being in business over 20 years so our name is well known. We may not be known for having the cheapest parts but I think we are known for the following:

best customer service
best selection of quality parts
best guarantee
best reputation
best return policy
knowledgeable staff
fast service

Others may come and go but our history shows we are here to stay.

Thank you,
That is very kind. Reading that reminded me of Boy Scouts. :)

Mrmerlin 07-28-2010 07:29 PM

lets not forget 928INTL also sells the best rebuilt steering racks,
and I would venture a guess that also goes for any other rebuilt parts they sell

por917 07-31-2010 04:03 PM

Well still no response from Mason or the new owner, Very disappointing:(

chesireIsugaree 08-01-2010 05:35 AM

ben_in_austin 08-01-2010 05:54 AM
