Sensor Type

Car Info: 1984 928

I am trying to find out what type of sensor the 928 has. I want to use my Apexi AFC NEO piggyback computer on the vehicle, but I need to know if it is compatible first since it is not specifically designed for any Porsches.

There are diagrams but I do not know which type of sensor is in it; hot wire, flap, pressure, or Karman sensor or none of them?

Reason: Chips are pretty much out of the question. Authority is a garbage chip(they haven't even emailed me back in over 2 weeks), since I have been reading that they run rich low end and lean high end and often fail inspection.

Air flow meter in a US 84 is a barn door or flap type, chips are soldered to the circuit board in the brains and nobody I know of has ever made a replacement chip.

Early cars do respond well to exhaust upgrades, US 85/86 manifolds, X or Y pipe, high flow cats and mufflers. Some people also report improvements with a hotter cam, 1979, a Euro S, or a custom cam.

I have the correct computer than. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for an 84 ECU?

Example:

A diagram showing what each wire is?
