You are very welcome. because they get so hot a header will expand at a different rate then the engine. I think it might have even been a 3/8 thick flange, I can't remember but I know that the good ones are pricey, but worth the lack of head ake

Plug and Play -

Easy and Horse Power are usually not found in the same sentence - at least not without a significant pile of money available to augment the process. A friend who is an engine builder and long time rally participant has said that his cost vs. real HP is approximately 20 - 30 HP per $1,000 (labor not included). I think now days if you factor in labor, parts and shipping, his HP vs. dollar ratio can bump up toward $2K. Just a sign of the pressure on suppliers when a recently ordered $8 (10 oz.) part cost $13 to ship.

What is really great about a 928 Porsche is that all of the most important building blocks that designates this as a refined high performance road car comes already installed from the factory. Many very cost effective improvements can be realized by using a simple plug and play installation of Genuine Porsche used parts between models such as cams, fuel injection/intake parts, heads, exhaust manifolds, calipers, wheels, air dams, etc….. Thanks to Pelican Parts for allowing us a forum to exchange information and ask questions about our cars.

Thanks for bringing my hijacked thread back to original topic. I thought of another mod (whether or not it will work for the 928 is another issue)

My friends dad (WRX STi) put in 'one step colder' spark plugs, is there any benefit on a NA Motor?
