...and lower it a little. I always thought the front was way too high looking as stock.

Well, I work for a major cargo airline that is based in Memphis which shall go NAMELESS, despite the PURPLE tails that populate the north end of the airport, and my schedule has me on "reserve" or available at 90 minutes notice between October 8 and 18th. That means I'm up there hangin' around, pretty much doing nothing. I go running most mornings at Shelby Farms, and then go to my crash pad in Cordova prior to noon....which is when they can call me.

As of about 4 pm...I'm pretty much free.

Now...I'm not a mechanic! I'm a 727 flight engineer, but I have 11 years of experience with these cars, and I can probably take apart nearly everything, since I've probably done it before.

But lets get something straight: I would love to help you with your car, but if I break something....it is on you, unless it is something obviously stupid. I handed my car to a mechanic and let him change the clutch 10 years ago; I haven't done this job.

Too cool! I was thinking about HOW the HELL I was going to spend 10 days in Memphis! Dude, if you want experienced help, then IM me and I will give you my cell number, we'll coordinate during that period.

I disagree this time Dano.

That destroys the VERY SENSITIVE alignment of this car, and leads to tricky handling and rapid tire wear. In my opinion, you should keep the 928 at its designed height.

True true Normy. I know the characteristics of messing with the 928 height and alignment. I just think it "looks" better. Plus, I got Eibach Springs all the way around and it lowers it too much on the front, but the rears look sweet. Once I can get some Bilstein $, then I will get the adjustable fronts as well as rears. Right now, I am running with heightening acorns in the front springs so I am not giving the Ants Mohawks

Hey Normy, your too kind. I'll I'M you with e-mail & cell phone #. I'm about 90% sure my clutch problem can be fixed with a few new lines and some bleeding. I should get the new lines in a few days. To me it looks like a pain in the @$$ job but it should be nothing along the lines of a full clutch job. As far as breaking something, trust me this isn't that kind of car. I bought it for 2 k for my son. If for example its more than just busted clutch lines. I just assume buying a runner and use this one as a parts car. Any way I'll get you the info..............NIX

Yeah, dude you're a serious veteran and I know you know the plusses and minuses. I only chimed up so that some newbie looking at this for the first time would be advised of the negatives of doing that. For what it is worth, I agree with you- 928's do look best a little low.
