Question Dwains havac tips

any one knows, if Dwain's tips on heater valve applies to 82 porsche 928 another word on older Porsche's. Ed.

What is the question relative to your heater valve?

Yes, they all fail open, causing heat to not stop. Is that what you are asking?

Theres a lot of pictures in his hvac diy. What specific piece are you talking about? Heater Valve is not a repair, it's a replace.

Hi Landseer, my quesion is ,to replace the heater valve are the instuction same as all models or its diffrent. another word is the heater valve behind the air cleaner on 82 models or is it diffrent. Ed.

It's behind/below your Air Cleaner. 2 Bolts under the Air Filter, then remove the long bolt goes thru the body of the Intake Spider. The Valve will stare you in the face.

Get to know your car and start pulling stuff like this off. You got a lot of maintenance in front of you.
