Hi guys, my car use to start the first time i hit the switch, now i think after i had it
steam cleaned and mind you they did very good job. 5 days later my fuel injector hoses leaked becouse i forgot to tighten the clamps on one side, now its fixed. but since then it takes about 10 or more times of cranking for the car to start. once it starts run fine no problems, even when warm. so what you guys think is the problem. thanks Ed. |

Hi. Just as in all the current no start threads, begin with verifying ALL of your grounds around the car. Steam cleaning may have degraded a ground somewhere.

I thought I read here never to wash the top of the engine. Sounds like you got water in connectors and other places. I didn't think they even steam clean any more. Maybe let the car dry out real good under the hood and see.

I love steam cleaning my engines after I soak them with Gunk Foamy engine degreaser. I've never had a problem.
