Ok...got some "flare" confusion here...
In the HVAC world, we use single-45 deg. flares...simple.. As I am looking for flare fittings and adapters, I am seeing double flare. bubble flare, 45deg, and 37deg.... So, what is the best to use on fuel line? I was leaning towards bubble flare, as I found the male and barbed female fittings, but I dunno....

![]() ![]() Guess I should have explained more clearly. This is a Metric Male 60deg Single Flare fitting I machine to accept the standard Porsche Fuel Hoses. As far as I know, I am the only one doing this modification. Its part of my line of Metric Fuel & Oil Hoses for most Porsche models. Please, do NOT PM me. Send an email and I will give you the details. Most all of the Metric Fittings & Hose needed for the 911s are in stock, and most of the fuel components will interchange with the 944 & 928. I ship everything by US Postal Priority Mail which is 2-3 days coast to coast. Len at Autosportengineering dot com ![]() Last edited by BoxsterGT; 04-16-2012 at 08:27 AM.. |
