Very cool Riber. Do they provide that slick camera? Was it your first time around this track? I think I only saw you hit about 113 mph at one point. Really babying this run. Next time, don't let those 911's pass you. Lol.

Yup, was my first time there, so taking it easy! You need to respect the Nürburgring or it will try to murder you and your car

The camera was just an iPhone4 with the app Harry's LapTimer installed. Nice little piece of kit, uses the inboard GPS and accelerometer (not calibrated on this run).

Next year I'll give it the beans for sure, you can drive as many laps as you want on the xbox, but it's nothing compared to the real deal. And those 911's are pretty damn fast!!

Wow, that was your Phone? Looks great. Does that App have other tracks as well?

Ahhhhh...1972

Wow, that brings back some memories! I lived about 60 clicks from the Ring
during high school. Did that a couple times in my Dad's '65 Barracuda, (it was
a little slower...), skinny tires, Hurst 4 speed, 4.5 litre V8, and a slipping clutch.
Yeah, the older I get, the more cars I passed! All the other times were on
motorcycles. I would love to run the S4 around there a few times.

That was an excellent lap for a first time! Congrats. Nice video app, too.

Thanks Riber. Really a great show. Great drive. Brought back a lot of memories in my "old" racing days ... especially Road America in Elkart Lake Wisconsin. Beautiful track. Thanks for sharing.

Wow man, that looked fun. The ring is no joke, lots of youtube vids of people trying to play 'track day hero'.
Lots of pucker inducing turns. Can't wait for you to go back and make more vids.
