I have always loved the Stroesk Hatch insert.. I am not sure how practical it is for rear views......., but it sure looks mean.

I sure hated it in a Pantera, looks way too Viper for my taste.

Some cars look great with a mod, basically the 944 is a 924 with flared wheel wells, and it transformed the car. 928 I keep going back to preferring the early no spoiler cars, the pure design.

I'd like to tinker with headlights, A pillar where it doesn't meet the windshield, and maybe some of the trim around the other windows.

My next thing is going to be a rear spoiler for my '83. It's going to be different though. I'm actually thinking of using the original side pieces from another S but mounting them on aluminum brackets about a foot on top of the original rear spoiler. Otherwise, I'm not really a fan of cosmetic modifications. I must say the DP Motorsports 928 on the above site is pretty awesome though.

Don't forget the c3 vette has it.
Had one. Never noticed a rear view problem. Always looking ahead for broads. Maybe that's it ?

Oh yeah, the rear hatch! I really like this too and it has to be more aerodynamic than stock. Length is part of aerodynamic efficiency.

Nice vehicle. I just don't think that it changes the vehicle that much. Perhaps that's good.

I though it made the rear look heavier but after a bit of gawking it flows alright.

Be nice to have more pics at different angles.

I searched last night for a source for the hatch insert only. I couldnt find one.
Any ideas? I was/am considering it with a "S" hatch for an OB, plus the insert.
It sounds weird but a few years ago I converted an "S" to an "S4" rear end (pita).
There was a week or so when I had removed the Qtr spoilers but hadnt made it to the hatch yet. The 1983 looked great with the "S" hatch spoiler only........

I'll post my idea as a drawing on here soon. I'm not even sure it's a sound idea. Basically it will be another set of 83-86 rear spoiler tips, but a foot above the original spoiler tips in the same place but with no middle airfoil. My plan is for it to give just a bit of downforce, but look wicked and different from any other 928. The idea is also for it to be an interesting use of extra factory parts.
I actually have two ideas. The other was to rig the rear hatch on a mechanical lift and attach the spoiler tips to the sides of the hatch so that they lift with the hatch rather than being stationary on the rear body.

The ol Musting II's as well. I think they have a Boss 302 in them as well. A real awesome small block Ford Engine.

brother's mav. He is american car junkie type. He wants to paint that mav bubble gum pink. the interior is stripped, roll cage etc, and the engine is some gnarly things pushing like 500 or hp or something crazy... he has a 69 mustang, and lifted dodge raider that is rhino lined inside and out, and a dodge rampage he is currently putting on an S10 frame... yet he drives a 97 s10 with 224,000 miles.....

Show us the rear diffuser on this black car. I'm thinking about something like this too.
