Timing and slave cyl issue
Ok i checked the timing and it looks right on . second issue is i have the slave cyl out of the car and this piece that i dont know where it goes. i have some pics that might help. i need to move the car before my son puts dents on it with his basketball lol

That piece in picture #2 is the piston for the slave cylinder. I hope you have a spring in there as well. If not, just replace it with a rebuilt.
I've done the rebuild myself a couple of times and it's not very hard. If you do it you do need to pay attention to the bottom of the bore in the cylinder. Mine had a lot of rust and I suspect by the looks of that piston that yours does too. If it's pitted, don't bother with it, just replace it. |

I got my reman. slave on ******** for $18 on clearance....cheaper than the rebuild kit...., back when I ordered it....

i picked up a new new slave but it didnt come with a spring . i dont know how that that piece goes in. can anyone tell me how to intall that piece or some kind of diagram.

The spring and piston are already inside the new slave cylinder that I hope you didn't take apart. The old pieces you have can be thrown away. Keep the pushrod, you're going to need that. If you don't already have a set of workshop manuals, buy or borrow them.
