IT'S Alive (kinda)

Okay my intake project roared yesterday after much diagnosis I need a bettery. But on another note , I am not getting power to the fuel pump, I turned the car on with relay and dummy light, I jumped the relay socket and still no light on the dummy light by the pump. Any suggestions?

Check grounds, get a good battery and a battery switch to disconnect when parked. I like the GAMA side post on ebay about $12, put it between ground strap on battery and chassis ground (needs longer bolt and spacer to raise switch up off the body).

check the fuel pump fuse at the CE panel drop the panel and see if you get 12V from the backsides of the fuse connections, its common for the fuse to be good , but with some corrosion thrown in the power wont go to the pump if this is the case you can remove one of the other no used fuse stations and remove the fuse holder and swap it into the corroded slot this should restore function.
Also check the ground bundle behind the RR quarter panel liner one of these grounds is for the fuel pump iof the grounds are bad the pump wont run.

to verify the ground use a test light and remove the brown wire from the pump,
connect the other end to the pos side of the battery, the light should come on.

Next install the ground and remove the power wire to the pump,
connect the test light to ground and the positive wire from the pump,
crank the engine the light should come on

Awesome thanks for the advise ill do the fuze thing in a bit, first off, the car idles when I ran the pump straight to the battery and tried to start it but I couldn't give it gas like no effort and after a while the the pressure plate for the air intake started slapping hard and it feels like its getting stuck.

H,mm, I saw that and said to myself, "self, methinks your thread title has been snatched!!"

I guess it's ok, since Jack has an OB, and he seems like a good fellow....and my thread is better!!!

Lol.....

Jack, perhaps your CE panel needs a refurb...I had to do mine...it's easy....

Basically one of the MOST important tools for your CIS 928. Here is a link to one as it needs to be specific for CIS and has all the correct adapters.

S & G Tool Aid 33800 Injector Cleaning - Fuel System Tools

It hooks up to your WUR (really a pressure regulator) and will tell you exactly what pressures your getting at different temps. The manual gives you the bar and temps.

Without this tool, your just guessing.
