Sharktoberfest is here
I was at Precision today, people are gathering, should be a great Sharktoberfest this year. Several very hot cars will be there, track cars, Rob Edward's stroker showing off Gregg's prototype intake, and making spooky power. Several low mileage examples showing what a 928 "used" to look like.
Plus usually some interesting vendor stuff. I don't think I will be driving a 928 to it this year. A bit pointless since its only 10 miles away, and neither one is really remotely daily driver status and no time this year to improve prior to the event. Maybe I should bring a picture like a closed casket funeral? I'll be the tall old guy wearing black shorts and cammo hat, most likely aiming for a few AM hours and leaving before lunch, which is great, but family stuff to do on the weekends. |

I'm sure I am in some, but didn't take my camera.
Joe owns the Embassy Suites, so we got more catering this year, mini muffins and pastries to start the day. Many nice looking cars. Many FAST cars. Several made a LONG drive to get there. Rob brought a big flat screen and they were doing a live tune with the SharkTuner and Sharkplotter while the car was being driven around the neighborhood with a wireless connection. Rob's stroker has Greg's prototype intake, consensus, scary fast, breaks the 295's loose in third around 4500 RPM. Met many I knew only online. Fun day. |

Thanks for heads up on your fun day. I did not make it this year. Sounds fun. How was the BBQ?

Main thing, nothing like hanging for a couple hours with a 100 other 928 nuts, listening to tire squeal and exhaust systems, tech details. |

Funny, how this event happened, but can't be proven with pics
