For the air box. Time to change it, too.

The new intake parts look great,
I hope everything goes great.

NOTE before you try to start the engine,
take a 27MM deep socket,
and by hand, turn the engine over few times.

This might prevent a catastrophic failure.

NOTE more than a few owners have had a washer or nut drop into the cylinder,
and then simply by cranking the engine over they never felt the piston lock at TDC,
and thus destroyed the engine..
this simple precaution might have saved a few of these engine top end refreshes.

I would recommend this be done any time that the intake and injectors are serviced or removed

Also remember to remove 27mm socket from the crank after you test it.
My nine year old saved my ass last year.
As I was about to turn it over..."Daddy, is that supposed to be on there?"

Looks great by the way.
Dave.

Are you using non-stock fuel rails?

syoo8 02-15-2014 05:31 AM

Odd- that's not what my fuel rails look like at all.

Dadddio 02-15-2014 02:29 PM

That's not an intake or fuel rails from a 86
