Porsche Disc Wheel
I have been thinking about the disc wheel and what could be done with it with a little milling. It would seem there are a lot of surface milling possibilities to give it more dimension and not compromise it's strength. Just woke up thinking this, not sure why as i sold mine long ago.

Niel,
I have those on my MGB, similar to what was on the old 914 2.0...

Now that i've been to work and look again i agree.
Sketch looked better than the scan. I had no idea that this has been done already to these wheels.

Niel,
My MGB is a 74.5...stupid rubber bumpers but the dual carbs, no cat, California legal but now beyond somg requirements...all original including a hard top. Eventual resto if the wife wants...her toy. My toys are the SHARKS: Porsche 928 and the Coupe (3.0csi euro I brought over from Deutschland). Jon

I remember those being overheat monsters. Same with my first car the Triumph TR7.

^ I can't stand when someone is selling something (like 4 wheels)
and shows only a small part of one. Thanks Leo, but i was more curious if anyone had any good design ideas. If you read the original post.. I wasn't all that interested in doing it myself or figuring it out, (I used to be an Industrial Designer) it was an attempt to start a conversation about this wheel and what could be done on a milling machine. I was kind of surprised by the reaction by some here.
