some quick questions

I took these seats out so long ago I can't remember how they were - there are two kinds of plastic caps that cover the rails - I have two sets of these I think from 2 separate cars - the long fits on the outside easily - however I can't get the long ones to fit on the inside rail (too much carpet interference) - so i'm thinking the short ones go on the inside - but I can only find two of them and the screw holes won't line up for the front inside rail - also the front inside rails have rubber caps over their screw holes - so how's it go - also what's the capped connector that comes out of the ecu connector - thanks

long and short plastic pieces

PET manual page 335 shows how the trim pieces fit at seat.

The called plug looks like the oxygen sensor that SHOULD be in the exhaust via a hole in the tunnel.

Can't figure out how to attach just one page out of the PET so here is a bad pic.

Looks like the rail with the rubber caps is the INSIDE rail. Outside rail should have tabs for trim attachment....or you have just inside rails only.

PET on the oxygen sensor. This still should be in the exhaust with or without the catalytic converter in place.

thanks dean - so I guess the front inner rail has no cover? - my oxygen sensor is installed but it plugs into 3 different wires - i'll pull the CE panel and do some investigating

Yes...looks like the inside rail does not get a cover in your cars model except on the back where the small cover attaches.

I pulled the CE panel to get a look behind it - the 3 wire oxy sensor on this car connects to three wires that look to be factory - two go to a 2 prong plug (heating wires ?) - the other looks like a standard oxy 1 pin plug - ? - do some of these cars have more than one oxy sensor - am I missing one - while I have yet to drive this car (and I've owned it 3 years) it starts right up and idles ..ok - revs ..ok - ????

My manuals are at the shop and it may be a few days before I make it over there. Check the wiring diagram and see if you can tell what they are. I will look when I get a chance.

Maybe a diagnostic plug?
