a/c compressor wire
I am working on a friends 1979 928. The previous owner removed a bunch of the A/C stuff and I have been reinstalling it for my buddy. I have everything installed and cannot seem to find the wire to plug the compressor in. Can somebody show me where this wire should be coming from? I already have the system vac'd down and filled and just need to get the stupid compressor plugged in so that I can fire the puppy up.

Another issue seems to be in the area of the relay - when put a test light on position 87 (which i believe should be constant power) there is nothing. What would cause this issue?

By convention 87 is the relay output and 30 the relay input. This is generally true for all cars.
This is certainly true of the clutch relay on a '79 - assume that's what you mean. 30 is fed from fuse #17. Alan
