Help! main beam doesnt go off
Hi guys,
I just got home and when I turned off the lights, the main headlights had retracted BUT the lights (main beam) stayed on! I tried pulling out every relay but only after I took the 2 fuses off the lights turned off. Does anybody familiar with this phenomenon? The weird thing is that when I turn off the lights, while the main head lights retract, the lights are off. When they are fully retracted, the lights comes on again  Any ideas?

Perhaps the problem is with one of the relays...do have any idea which relay is responsible for shutting down the main beam after the headlights retracts?

Not sure but there could be limit switches on your head light motor.

Thanks for your help and advice! The link looks good but this is not the problem I have
 Anyway, do you know if there are some instructions on how to remove the headlight motor? I found something in Rennlist but it wasnt too clear..

Hi guys,
After troubleshooting this problem and understanding that the problem is within the headlight massive relay, I decided to try and simply replace the small electronic components instead of buying a new relay. I bought all the components (except the resistors) and started to replace them. I started with the 2 transistors (marked in red) since they were most likely went wrong and...SUCCESS!!!!  After replacing both of them, the relay came back to life!!!The component cost me ~2$ so it is a big save and a very easy job.

The transistor type is written on the transistor body (I dont have it with me). All the components are very common and can be easily found in any store that sells such components. I am not from the US so I cant recommend on a shop
