Hi folks'
The alternator on my '82 auto seems to be going bad. It's a valeo brand. These are priced higher than some of the other brands i've seen. I don't have a lot of money, so I was wondering if any of the other ones would fit the car. It would have to fit right in like the original. |

Usually it's the built on voltage regulator that goes bad. Should be a part number on it and then contact Roger at 928srus

You can replace with Delco 105 amp from, for example, 88 Camaro. i'm replacing one this aft on 1984 USA, which also will work on 82. You need a Dorman pigtail and you need to loose the cover, a slightly shorter belt. Search here and rennlist for other tips.
