Intake Plenum - What colour? S4

Hi All, I have a 1989 S4 Manual (M28/41 engine) and was wondering what colour my intake plenum should be?

Currently it's painted a dark grey colour, along with the cam covers, though this is peeling.

I've been told it should be cream....really?? I do love the silver finish, but seeing I'm taking it all off to replenish the hoses this weekend, I thought I should take the opportunity to refinish it.

Keen to know what is correct

Cheers

Robert

The closest shade to the original color is Zermatt Silver. Do a google search "what is the correct cam cover color for the 928" and click on the links to the "other site." Lots of information there. Plenty of info on Pelican I'm sure as well. Some owners go with the original color, some go hog wild with the powder coat color scheme. The choice is yours, have fun!

Joe

Make it whatever color makes you happy. It's your car.

Go Go Joe is correct that Zermatt Silver is closest to the original factory color.
