Dashboard lights not working
I fixed my odometer and at the same time tried to fix my dashboard lights not working.
I fixed the optical elements with a kit I bought on ebay and installed new led bulbs. The problem still exists. I forgot when the dash lights come on, is it with the headlights or a photocell? Well anyway I waited till dark with no success. I checked the fuse which I think is the cigarette lighter fuse. Is there another fuse? I took out the dimmer dial a few years ago because as you all know, there was no reason to dim the dim lighting. Since those wires are under the dash, not connected, could that be the problem? |

Probably. All voltage to the lights comes from Pin 1 of the dimmer.

I actually dim the dash lights when driving in really dark areas to improve night vision.
