Turbo Injector confusion. HELP!
Bought a 86 turbo that had an engine fire. Engine was in the car but intake and fuel system came in a box. Injectors that were in the box are 0 280 150 158. They are totally destroyed. Don’t know if these came out of this engine or if they were even the correct ones for a turbo. Pelican parts have genuine Porsche injectors 951-606-110-00-OEM for $496 each. If you look at the pics it has
0 280 150 803 stamped on the injector. Pelican has a link on the genuine Porsche injector to a Bosch injector 0-280-150-803-INT for only $101 each. They say it works on 86 turbo. Then to confuse me even more Clarks garage says the 158 injector is for a 85.5 to 91 N/A and the 803 injector is for 86 to 91 turbo. So which injector came on a 86 turbo. And what does the “INT” on the Bosch injector mean.

0280150803 is the factory original part for an 86 turbo

I have a set of OEM rebuilt injectors - "803" as noted... PM me if interested.
Also, do note the Pelican injectors are 'out of stock' and have been sold out for about two years now... If you try to add them to your cart (basket), you will see the note...

Also, if you try to find a cheaper route, be aware that there have been a lot of counterfeit injectors in the marketplace. They do not work well with our Porsches.
Even the Bosch boxes they are packaged in are counterfeit.

Further on the fakes, here is my last go around with them. Pics are self explanatory.

You're right to double-check—injectors are critical. The correct Bosch part number for a 1986 951 (Turbo) is 0 280 150 803, which matches the $101 injector Pelican lists as an alternative to the OEM part. The 0 280 150 158 injectors are for 85.5–91 NA cars, so those likely didn't come from your Turbo originally.

While on the subject, wonder why Porsche used peak and hold injectors in the 951, they do come on fast but since the car is batch injected the gas just sits there till the intake valves open....
