O2 sensor wire color at DME
Does anyone know from experience what the wire color is that goes from the O2 sensor ( lambda wire ) to the DME?
I am installing a air/fuel mixture sensor and I am having trouble finding the wire. By testing it at the connection in the engine bay, I can see that the voltage jumps up and down around the 0.45volts, as it should. I have read on the DME circuit diagram that the wire is marked with GN, which I assume to be green, but it isn't any of the green ones from what I can tell. I can image the best way to tell would be to tear apart the side of the connector that goes to the DME, but I didn't want to do that yet. Thanks for your help.

Its one of the following:
- solid dark brown - black with green stripe - large solid light green Any bets? I'll let you know when I figure it out.

Well, its the green one. But it isn't that obvious where to connect the wire to. There are 3 large green wires going in/out of the DME. If you test them with a volt meter you won't see any voltage. This is because there is a ground wire wrapped around the one you want.
This is what you have to do: - Unplug the wire harness plug from the DME - Cut off the plastic ties and remove the screw from the end of the white DME plug so that you can slide off the top of it and see where all the wires go. - the O2 sensor wire is #24. You will see a black wire coming out of the green wire and going to #23 - Splice your wire into the green one going into #24 and put it all back together.

You can also tap into the O2-sensor wire in the DME connector itself. Illustrated instructions on my 951 RacerX website
