Anyone use this WBO2 kit?

Thanks!

there are some guys using the PLX wideband gauge over on rennlist. personally, i think the PLX face looks kind of cheap because they use the round LED's instead of the rectangular ones and for that price i'd rather get the innovate LM-1;

or the aem uego wideband;

I'm new to this tuning stuff, so I am trying to keep this as simple as possible.

Basically, I have a stock engine and looking to mod with:
tial 38mm wastegate
adj. FPR
black knob boost controller
951 Maxx chips

And I want to utilize a WBO2 sensor to monitor things. If I use a standalone WBO2 sensor and gauge, can I adjust fuel with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator if the O2 ratio is out of spec? Would that work as a solution to monitoring and adjusting a/f ratios?

edit: And I'd like to be able to monitor a/f ratios while on track, not just on a dyno.

adjusting afr using an adjustable fpr is very kludgy and inaccurate. for example, you couldn't adjust afr between, say 4500 and 5000 rpm without affecting the entire rpm range.

instead of getting the 951 maxx chips, why not just get the maxhp tuning solution? this will allow you to datalog as well as tune afr more precisely (by controlling the fuel injectors directly) than an adjustable fpr would allow.

So excuse my stupidity, but I am new to this tuning thing as well. What is the optimum air fuel mixture for street/track use. Also, I have seen these gauges in action...what do the lights mean exactly...in other words, when the lights circle around what exactly is happening with the air fuel mixture?

Like i said, please excuse my stupidity on this topic.

I have a Lc-1 and XD-16 gauge that I'm installing now. I was thinking about the AEM (similarly to the PLX) and chose the Lc-1 for its better features and quality. I too have heard good things on rennlist but by far is zeitronix which I would have bought if only they offered a gauge at that time, they do now.

yeah, the zeitronix is the best, but at $400 it's not cheap anymore.

I have the Innovate LC-1 and XD-16 gauge as well. And if i had known if they sold the Zeitronix with a gauge now i would have bought that! But they are very close in price and have what look to be the exact same design of gauge.

I never liked the display of the older Zeitronix, i prefer to have a analog (though its really LED's) as you can quickly glance at the gauge to see where its at rather than focusing on the display.

But one of my friends has been running the Innovate setup for quiet a while on his heavily modified WRX and loves it. One of the nice features of the Innovate setup that im not sure the Zeitronix has is a record feature that will play back its readings. Mind you its not actually datalogging to a computer file, just a record and playback feature. It does have data logging capabilities though you need to buy the LMA3 box to use that feature.

Really the nice thing about the Zeitronix setup is plenty of people have wired it up to the 944's electronics, so there isnt much question as to how to do it. You might have to do some experimentation using the Innovate system.
