Its the interior of the light that is different.. the wiring too just a little bit.. the lenses are the same.. i have a Jap spec car that became a donor.. its lights fit right in with all the other stuff... just had cooler stuff inside.. like two light bulb areas.. high beams and such..

well to completely right the "Euros" have 3 bulb spots. one turn signal one driving light, and one fog light. I have the Euros installed on my 87 USA car. I had to build a Wire harness for the driving lights to work. and I am now int he posses of building one that has a separate switch inside the cabin to turn them on and off. using a factory fog light switch.

When I went to the euro fog/driving lights, I just had the driving lights wired into the high-beam circuit. I figured that I didn't need a separate switch inside the car for the driving lights since the only time to use them is when I would have the high-beams on as well. They are certainly helpful in night driving out in the country.

I would prefer to have a separate switch because having them run only on high beams is useless to me as my high beams are bright already. my low beams and when i don't want to pop up the headlights is why you need a separate switch. Right now at night i normally don't pop up my headlights i just use the fog/driving lights together.
I am also going to try to build a new Headlight harness, and a completely new fog / driving light harness.
