Turn Signal Problems

I am having trouble with my turn signals. They function normally when the parking and head lights are not on. They don't work when those lights are illuminated. The problem began after I changed bulbs in the front parking lights. I thought they might have been loose and that seemed to be the case as the lights were very sporadic in their operation. They are no longer loose. Any ideas what could cause this problem. Bad Relay? Is there any way to check this before I buy another. Other suggestions?

It might be that the new bulbs are a different wattage, and when your lights are on with the drain on the electrical system the blinker is not going off.

Check to make sure that you have the correct bulbs in there, and maybe that's your issue.

Good luck,

Keith

i also vote that the new bulb is a different wattage, vampiring power from the rest of the system.
