quieting rear hatch rattle

So the rear hatch rattles worse than a tinker's mule cart. Everything--pins, latch, etc.--is tight. What have you all done to quiet that rattle? I could use some foam tape, but I'm looking for something less trailer park.

the glass is probably separating from the metal frame edge. the only way to fix this is to re-glue the glass back to the frame.

glass seems tight--at least I can't find anything loose. Any thing else to look for before I caulk the whole thing shut (kidding--but I'd love less rattle.)

Replacing the weatherstripping had benn known to help.

I have also found that waxing the weatherstripping, or putting some kind of conditioner on it, has reduced the noise somewhat.
