replacement hatch struts
i remember weltmeister used to make replacement hatch struts and hood struts for the 944 that came with lifetime warranty. i have a set of these in stainless for the hood, but can not find any for the rear hatch.
does anyone know if these are still available? i think i recall having to buy them from paragon products, or automotion. they certainly still make them; http://www.weltmeister.com/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=424 i guess i'll try calling weltmeister directly tomorrow and get more info; 800-588-7448

944.511.351.01 gas-filled strut (front hood shock, either side) $15.25 944.512.348.00 gas-filled strut R (rear lid shock, right) $37.75 944.512.349.00 gas-filled strug L (rear lid shock, left) $31.25

those are the front hood struts. i'm looking for the rear hatch struts.
