951 idle speed problem .. Need Help !!

I have problems with the Idle speed in my '86 944T. It ascends from 1000 to 1500 rpm and then drops to 1000 rpm continuously. I don't think that the idle stabilizer may be the problem, since before I sending it to a shop it was working correctly. Now, I've installed it in both directions (according to the flow direction arrow) and the problem continues. I replaced all the injection hoses too.

I will be very grateful if somebody help me !!

Thanks.....

well, i'm at school right now and can't look at the haynes manual to remember the name of the part...you take the throttle cable and the throttle cam off and take the assembly that it's attached to off also..turn it upside down and there should be a round black disc shape on the bottom...i guess if you loosen the nuts on the bottom you can adjust it.

i need to do the samething on my car. the haynes manual says if you have it set to low (like mine), it jerks when you let off the gas, and if you have it set to high the idle jumps from 800-1200 i believe.

when i get home i'll print out the directions and stuff for ya unless you have a manual. get a haynes manual and it'll be in there if your problem is the problem that i'm thinking ofl.
