Put the key in the drivers door and the passengers door will unlock but not lock back. So, as I use the key to lock the drivers door the passengers door stays unlocked. Just quit working recently. Checked all fuses and they are not blown. Do I need a door lock accuator or door lock servo ? Did a search in Pelican Parts and this BBS with negative results. Where to get needed part? Thks |

lock and unlock the passenger door to confirm you can hear the solenoid running in both directions. if not, time to check wiring. if so, it's this:

+1 on Pettybird's post....this plastic connecting rod is USUALLY the culprit when one side of the electric door locks quits functioning. Pull the door panel and look at the solenoid, the connecting rod fits the end of the solenoid with a pin, and snaps over a ball on the door lock...somewhat of a PITA to chnage.
