hello everyone, im currently trying to finish a 951 build and have loads of questions. ive realized that i dont want to annoy everyone by creating new posts for each question, so ill ask all my further questions on this thread. thanks for the help!
my next question is , can i delete my fuel tank vent assembly (in the engine bay) my isv (under the intake manifold), venturi (under the intake manifold) and my cycling valve (with a manual boost controller in its place) and still have it run properly? on my n/a i jut had the brake booster vacuum line and a line with a t going to my fpr and damper. i also had a hose coming off the top of the aos to a catch tank. everything else was plugged (iirc) and after it was warm she ran perfect. would i have the same results with the 951? i have a maf, aftermarket wastegate, and aftermarket diverter valve. id like to run the vacuum hose for the brake booster from the manifold, the line for the fuel rail (with a ''t'') from the single banjo bolt , the other vacuum line to the klr from the same banjo, the wastegate vacuum line from the charge pipe , and the line for the diverter valve from the fuel rail lines. seems like a simple setup relieving a bunch of stress regarding vacuum issues. i did some diagram work to help anyone understand what im saying, the only thing not shown is the boost controller. anyone have thoughts on this? all help is greatly appreciated. the diagram is lindsey's with my modification (i dont own it) ![]()

If you don't have to worry about slogging the car then you don't need a fuel tank vacuum source so that can be just unhooked as the rear tank has its own vent.
On my 951 I have the Venturi delete hooked up so that I can use the ISV as I enjoy a smooth idling motor. If your going to the trouble to remove manifold and redo all your hoses I would use the ISV I also have the 1"AOS mod going to catch can so J-boot has plug in it. My NA race car has no ISV and bare bones vacuum hose setup, it runs just fine at idle and screams on track.

So what's the difference , would my 951 idle badly without the isv? Wouldn't it idle like the n/a?
