LSD Rebuild Experience?

Hello, I have a question for those who have experience rebuilding the factory 944 LSD... I have two LSDs sitting on my bench and ready for reassembly. When I disassembled both of them I found the concave of the diaphragm springs where facing in the same direction. example: ]-------]
I get the impression from the shop manual that the concave of the diaphragm springs should be facing each other... [------] I would think they should be facing each other but like I said I found them facing the same direction in the two I just disassembled.

Both LSDs show very little signs of wear. One is going to replace a open diff in a turbo gearbox for the track and the other I will likely put up for sale.

Thanks.
