1990-1993 964 Carrera Cup race car
I'm trying to gather as much information I can on the first gen Carrera Cup race cars. Yet again, I've been lead to this forum and it's good depth of knowledge. I was once a member a very long time ago.
I work as a physics developer for a race simulator software company and we're looking at the possibility of developing a (simulated) 964 Carrera Cup for a customer. I'm in the early stages of gathering information. Anything I can collate at this stage is useful. Below is what I've gathered: Quote:
Thanks in advance, Alex |

Hey Alex,
most Sspec depends on year. If you have detailed questions, i can help. The later cars from 92" are not so far from Euro Spec RS. Special Suspension with monoballs all around and Special springs and Shocks also top Mounts. Regards |

Brakes are the same - there are extra welding points on the chassis and a free flowing exhaust. . |

Thank you very much for your replies.

What's the typical weight distribution front/rear? Even for the road car would be useful. What spring rates and/or wheel rates are? Thanks, Alex |

Hello all.
Work resumes on this. Such is the nature of the industry we seem to chop and change a fair bit. Everything posted so far has been very helpful, thank you. Some of the next things I'd like to know may prove to be unattainable, but I'll try anyway. - An engine dyno graph - Roll centre heights - A base setup, with toe & caster angles. - Brake system measurements, such as master cylinder sizes and caliper piston dimensions - Damper dynos? |

Not the most technical question, but I was looking for the length of the Cup car wheel studs as I have a set of the 9.5" rears and OEM PMS spacers I was looking to put on my car. Certainly I can find studs that would work, but the correct length would be a nice touch.
Anyone have that they can share?
