replacing window switch in 993
Anyone knows if it's necessary to remove the door panel trim to replace the passenger's switch on the driver side (electric window switch) in a 1996 993? Can one just pop the old switch out of the panel and replace each wire connector with the wires being long enough to attempt it that way?

Hi,
I just popped out the old broken switch and it was a simple unplug the wire socket and push the new switch back in. I used a plastic ice scraper to pull out the old switch from the bottom edge without tearing the door trim. Almost as simple as replacing a light bulb. |

I used a plastic knife from a fast food joint since I carry extras. They tend to fail often
