Eli,
Actually, that picture was taken at MCB Quantico, VA. Close, but no cigar!

Rhenr,
Love the color on your 996! Consider upgrading your headlights /taillights to the later style clear lenses. The upgrade looks great.

Would consider the clear lenses, any suggestions on the best supplier of these parts

If you decide to go for the Litronic upgrade (highly recommended, but only if you are keeping this P-car awhile due to $$ that won't be recouped at resale) I suggest purchasing the kit from a reputable dealer such as our BBS host. Avoid buying litronic lights on Ebay (except for the driver's side one I will list next week, of course!), but that is another story.

You can purchase clear taillights/sidelights on Ebay or P-car bone yard. I would try to stick with OEM units as aftermarket are significantly lower quality.

The clear upgrade really does make the color stand out more without the distraction of the orange clashing with the body color. Also, there is the advantage of the .00001% of the population that is knowledgeable thinking you sprung for a '01 vs. cheapie '99

We have everything you'll need, even if you're interested in performing the complete facelift for the 2002-2005 look.
