Not unless you don't want to cut the wire and are planning to reinstall the same unit.
Get it hot first by running the engine for a while. Helps to have the wheel off.
Careful threading in the new one, it's a shallow fit and can crossthread. New unit should come greased too.

Easy install takes about a half hour.

Jack and support the car

Remove the left rear wheel

Remove the engine blower motor and tube

Find the conector for the O2 sensor on the lower left wall of the engine compartment.
Unplug the conector and follow the wire to the engine tin.

Push the gromet through the tin.

Go the the left wheel well and follow the wire and the gromet to the O2 Sensor.

Remove the O2 sensor

The installation is in the reverse order.
If for some strange reason your replacement O2 sensor was not capped with plastic you need to be sure that the sensor is clean and free of grease and that the threads are coated with anti sieze before you install it.

The new gromet can be a challange to get into position so try this if you have trouble getting it to seal.

coat the inner face (small side that faces the motor) with some silicon grease and wrap a thin piece of wire inside the grove of the plug. while pressing it into position from the outside pull the wire out of the groove. As the wire is pulled out it will seat the gromet.

Best of luck and you sould see a major improvement in your performance .
