Can anybody tell if this is the updated flywheel? LUK is stamped in the hub as you can see in the photo but it is dual-mass. I was under the impression (possibly mistaken) that only the Freudenburg is dual-mass. What's the straight scoop?

That's a LUK, the Freudenberg one has a thin steel washer under the bolts.
Make sure you replace ALL of the worn and suspect parts when re-assembling and only use the Porsche grease.

All 964 and 993 use dual-mass flywheel. Exception '89 Carrera 4 and RS/Cup models.
