964 bits. what can i do with them/what are they worth?

Ill be getting my hands on some used 964 bits next week and im wondering what they are good for/what they are worth. the bits are all from a 1990 964. crank, rods, pistons, heads, cams/housings, twin plug dizzy, intake and hoses etc. Im building a 930 engine so im pinching the cams but how about the other bits? what are they worth? what can i do with them?

Andy

P.S. posted this question in the 911 forum, then realised that it would be better placed in here. sorry.

There is definately an aftermarket available for them. Particularly the pistons and cylinders (on the 911 board for 3.6 liter conversions) I'm sure someone here with a broken distributor belt would pick the dizzy up.

Hard to put a value on used parts. Would suggest looking through the classified forums to get a gauge on what you can get for them.

if i were you, i would price them as 1 single lot and be done the hassle of selling each piece individually. ya usually wont get as much that way. but think of the time you will save.

If the pistons and cylinders are original, then they aren't worth much. They were updated to the versions with a beefier mating surface, and a groove for a CE ring head gasket.

But the other stuff will definitely sell.
