Spark plug and brake fliud change?

My owners manual says change the spark plugs every 4yrs or 60k miles. Why every 4 yrs? Also, it says change the brake fluid every 2 yrs. I have the bleeder and I'm willing to do it, but that seems pretty often. Wouldn't every 3 or 4 yrs be ok? Thanks in advance for the advice and help.

No, the brake fluid absorbs water that causes internal corrosion issues all through the brake system, very expensive

Why every 4 yrs
WAG the engineers were concerned that the sparkplugs would become semipermanent residents of the head because of the galvanic corrosion between the al head and steel sparkplug base. I would r/r them every few years but only replace as necessary. W/ modern engine management and fuels they last a long time.

Thanks Bill. I better get on that brake fluid change then....it's been almost 3 yrs! yikes~!

Bill, if I crack open the bleed nipples for the brakes should I do the one for the clutch as well? People don't seem as concerned about bleeding out the fluid in that system.

Absolutly, same sort of issues can rear their ugly heads there as in the brakes.
