What rims are you running on your 993?.

I interested in buying a set of rims with wide large offsets in the rear for my 1996 993. Please post pictures of your rims and indicate the kind and size. It would be helpful to see what different wheels look like on different 993's

Thanks,

Ron

It's hard to find rear wheels for a narrow body 993 that have deep rims. About the deepest I've seen are BBS LM's

The problem is that you need a rear ET of around 65mm to get a proper fit with a 18" wheel.

Here's a pic of my 18x10 Fikse FM-10's...hardly any "deepness" at all. (Picture taken prior to lowering)

Yes, on a 964 they use ~20mm spacers in the back to bring the net o/s to ~ 45

tires are the original size for the widebody cars with 18s
225/40/18 front
285/30/18 rear
(although 235 or 245s would work better on the 8.5 inch front wheels- the original fronts are 8 inch)
